This is the photo I've taken last Sunday, I wanna make it become a little bit old/blur effect in the background. You can see the imgs below xD
Original
Edited
Now this is what I do.
Put the img in and duplicate it :D (basic one, right ??)
NOW, go to Filter>Blur>Lens Blur and edit the picture as you like, once you're satisfied, just use the History Brush Tool to bring the part you want normal back.
After that, Go to Blending Options, use Color Overlay tab and choose Multiply Blend mode, set color at #fff5bb, opacity at 100%
OK, next, you press Ctrl-B to open up the Color Balance window and edit the color level as you see fit (for me, it's -52; 0; 71) :D
Done !! But..It's not finished yet, duplicate the edited layer and repeat the 2nd step (Blending Opts, COlor overlay) once again and don't do the Color balance
Merge it and you'll see :D
OK. For you guys & gals that need photoshop eBooks to help you with the practice (a request from my friend). I'll upload it here on the next entry so everyone in the class can download it :)
Have fun with the course :D

Fun with PS
OK, my 1st entry.....I just have a thought of practicing PS is a good choice. Here is the original pix
And here's the edited one
this is one of the techniques that I've learned using PS, just use the Clone Stamp tool and History Brush tool if you want to get rid of some unexpected stuffs. Simple, isn't it ? ?
More will come on the next entries. Enjoy
